Walk and picnic atop Fiesole with a local architect

- As an Architect i invite you to follow me on this walk and picnic in Fiesole that will allow you to experience the "genius loci" of the beauty of the spirit of the place. -The walk is 1.5 km (about 1 mile) uphill! average gradient is 13% and the elevation gain is 195 meters, so it is not a flat walk! - The meeting point is about 6 km from the center of Florence. I recommend taking the No. 7 bus in Piazza Libertà and getting off at the "Di San Domenico Istituto Europeo" stop. - We will meet at the San Domenico fountain in the town of Fiesole and then move on to pick up schiacciata, a traditional Tuscan flatbread, for our picnic. - We will begin the walk by following the ancient Etruscan road to Fiesole. Along the way we will encounter the evidence that places have bequeathed to us from human labor as a union of artifice and nature. - At the Convent of San Francesco, at the top of the hill, we will stop to enjoy our picnic and the panoramic view of Florence and the surrounding hills. Afterwards, we will return to Piazza Mino, where I will recommend having a well-deserved coffee or aperitif. - It will be an evocative ascent to gain a fulfilled physical and mental state through which to view Florence from a different perspective ! This experience is not an official guided tour and does not replace the services of a recognized tour guide.

Horseback Riding and Wine Tasting in Tuscany

We will pick you up from Firenze city center to take you to our ranch. Upon arrival one of our experienced guide will greet you and will start giving you some tips about riding our horses. No worries if you're a total beginner, we will take a few time making sure you get the basis before you meet your horse. Our horses are very friendly and calm and you'll have a few time for practicing before you go outside. When you're all ready to go your horseback riding tour in the countryside will start. The ride outside will least for about 1 hour in which you'll be surrounded by olive trees, vineyards, tipical Tuscan country houses and colored fields. During the ride there will be 2 experienced guides ready to assist you and reply to your questions. We will finish the horse tour back to our Ranch. After taking a few pics, we will help you getting off the horse and then we will drive you to the Villa (by van - only 3 min drive) where you will continue with the second part of the experience. The Villa's staff will greet you and your tour will continue with a visit to the little museum of the villa and its wine cellars. The tour ends with a tasting of four Torre Cona wines and a plate of selected cheeses. After the wine tasting, we will drive you directly to Firenze (same place of the meeting point).

My little organic Farm

You will immerse yourself in our little world not only made up of work but of history, nature, passion and many beautiful farm animals. We will walk through the fields in the company of our dogs and we will explain how we were born and how we got to this day, our philosophy and the reasons for our choices. We will observe the vineyard and its phases, the olive grove where the sheep graze in the beautiful meadow below and we will personally go to get to know them one by one. We will show you our cow Vilma running freely in the fields and the happy hens producing red yolk eggs. We will show you the cellar where we produce the wine and where we store the exquisite extra virgin olive oil. Then we will all sit together to taste the wines, oil and cheeses that we produce naturally with so much passion.

The secret of wine & cheese in a winery

Bring with you a big appetite, as you will be able to taste 10 cheeses and 10 wines, as well as a full Tuscan style lunch. We will meet in Florence and after getting to know eachother, we will head towards the hills of Florence. You will be able to see vineyards and the olive trees that are used to make our olive oil.the first stop will be in the ceramic laboratory to discover the marriage between the art and the wine of our land, while we will taste two wines told by our guide Our next stop will be another Chianti farmhouse. We will stop to take some pictures while our cook will prepare a big spread for lunch, aswell as more cheese to taste. There will also be a first course and gelato.
